CFUW Resolutions Meeting
Being the largest of the 90 clubs within CFUW, CFUW-Ottawa is allotted more votes at the national AGM than the smaller clubs. In July, our club’s President or her voting delegate will be required to vote at the policy session in accordance with club members’ instructions, and on the evening of Monday, April 6, you can help to determine how she will vote. CFUW-Ottawa’s advocacy committee will present the drafts of this year’s resolution proposals at our General Meeting, along with the Committee’s proposed amendments, after Dr. Dianne Dodd’s talk on the History of CFUW-Ottawa.
Two resolutions are under consideration this year. Ahead of our meeting, please review them, along with their background notes. Click here to download resolutions #1 and here to download resolution #2.
Your opinions count.
Come to the meeting and help us decide how we should answer those questions.
Unfortunately, proxy votes on this occasion will not be possible. For more information contact advocacy@cfuw-ottawa.org.
