Topic: Keeping your brain young. Nutrition makes a difference
Dr. Nafisa Jadavji is a neuroscientist working as a Research Associate and Instructor at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. Dr. Jadavji’s research focuses on understanding how dietary and genetic deficiencies affect neurological function over the lifespan and her talk will include how vitamins and nutrients affect normal aging and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment and the impact of vitamin supplementation on brain function.
