Silent Auction items that highlight Rideau Lakes area products, items and attractions (either gift certificates or specific items have been donated) including:

• Lunch or dinner at the newly revitalized Opinicon, including a walking tour of the historic, canal-side village of Chaffey’s Lock.
• Shop at Kilborn’s in Newboro (Great selection of shoes, clothing, furniture, kitchen specialty items, and vintage appliances!!)
• A beautiful floral arrangement from the Hidden Garden in Newboro.
• Spend a relaxing night at the beautiful Cove County Inn in the picturesque village of Westport on the shores of the Upper Rideau Lake.
• Also in Westport, shop at Chris Reynolds Designs and/or add to your jewelry collection with a stunning necklace from Seasons and another great piece of jewelry from Fashion Sari.
• A beautiful table lamp from Lyons-Goodfellow Furniture in Westport.
• Cruise the Big Rideau Lake on a boat provided by Bayview Yacht Harbour Marina in Portland (Lunch and local guide included.)
• Enjoy the Fall colours on the water with a boat trip and box lunch, October 1, 2016 (rain date October 8).  Starting at Chaffey’s Lock on Opinicon Lake, travel leisurely through Davis Lock, known as the ‘solitude’ lock as it is one of the most remote and unspoiled areas on the Rideau Canal System, to Jones Falls locks, easily one of the prettiest sets of locks and one of the finest examples of 17^th century slack water lock engineering in the world. (Please note that there is some walking/hiking involved from the top of Jones Falls to the lowest lock and then across a bridge to the hotel.)

• Tour the most recent garden to be added to the 1000 Islands and Rideau Canal Garden Trail tour in Portland.  Included in the private tour of this 1850’s farm garden is a lunch for 4 – and a swim if desired!  Mutually agreed to date to be determined, depending on what season, the winner of this auction item would like to see.
